General
By registering for Offside Society sessions, clinics or programs, parents/guardians and players agree to comply with all rules, policies and terms outlined below. Offside Society reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time where necessary.
Participation
Participation in Offside Society activities is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk. Parents/guardians confirm that:
- The player is physically fit to participate.
- All medical conditions, allergies, injuries or relevant information have been disclosed prior to participation.
- The information provided during registration is accurate.
Safety & Behaviour
Player safety is a priority at all times. The following are compulsory:
- Mouthguards during all hockey sessions.
- Appropriate sports clothing and footwear.
- Respectful behaviour toward coaches, players, facilities and equipment.
Offside Society reserves the right to remove any participant from a session if behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate. No bullying, aggression or discrimination of any kind will be tolerated.
Injuries & Medical Emergencies
While reasonable precautions are taken to ensure a safe environment, hockey is a physical sport and injuries may occur. Parents/guardians acknowledge that:
- Participation carries a risk of injury.
- Offside Society, its coaches, assistants and affiliates cannot be held responsible for injuries sustained during participation unless caused by gross negligence.
In case of an emergency:
- Basic first aid may be administered.
- Parents/guardians will be contacted immediately.
- Emergency medical assistance may be arranged if required.
Any associated medical costs remain the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
Payments
Session fees:
- Must be paid on the website for the booking to be made.
- Are non-transferable unless approved by management.
Offside Society reserves the right to:
- Adjust pricing when necessary.
- Decline participation where accounts are overdue
Cancellations & Missed Sessions
Participant cancellations:
- Notice must be given at least 12 hours before a session where possible.
- Missed sessions without notice may not be refunded.
Offside Society cancellations: Sessions may be postponed or cancelled due to:
- Weather conditions
- Venue issues
- Coach availability
- Safety concerns
Where possible:
- Make-up sessions
- Credits
- Alternative arrangements
may be provided.
Social Media & Photography
Offside Society may capture photos and videos during sessions for:
- Social Media
- Marketing
- Promotional material
- Website content
Media will only be used if consent has been granted in the registration/waiver form. Parents/guardians may withdraw consent in writing at any time.
Equipment
Offside Society may provide selected training equipment including:
- Balls
- Cones
- Agility equipment
- Hockey sticks
Players are responsible:
- Their own hockey stick (if they have)
- Mouthguard
- Water bottle
- Shinpads
- Personal belongings
Offside Society is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items. If our equipment are not treated with respect or the basic care, they may remove the opportunity for your child to use it. If not broken by incident you will be liable to replace it.
Venue & Facilities
Participants must:
- Respect the venue and facilities at all times
- Follow venue-specific rules and instructions
Any intentional damage caused by a participant may result in liability for repair or replacement costs.
Liability Waiver
By participating in Offside Society activities, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept that:
- Participation involves physical activity and potential risk
- Offside Society, its owners, coaches, staff and affiliates shall not be held liable for injuries, accidents, loss, damage or claims arising from participation unless caused by gross negligence
AParticipation is entirely at the participant’s own risk.
Agreement
By registering and participating in Offside Society programs, parents/guardians confirm that they

- Agree to comply with all rules and policies
- Accept the risks associated with participation
